Looking to knock out some of the low-hanging social media fruit? You’ve come to the right place!
After watching a lot of brands and individuals struggle with their social media strategy, I’ve identified these three things that not only help put your brand’s social media on the right path, but it also helps you manage the accounts with ease.
Create a Posting Calendar
The best way to hold yourself accountable and stay on track with your posts is to create a calendar for when you want to post them. Do some research to get a better understanding of when your audience comes to social media and then create a calendar around that behavior.
Whether you start by building it out week by week or month by month, setting a plan for when you’re going to post will make “doing social media the right way” a lot easier for you and better for your brand.
Create Posts in Bulk–Ditch the Day-to Day
Now that you have your calendar all set, how are you going to fill those open, scheduled slots? Creating the content and posting it on the day you have scheduled can get exhausting and cause you to get lazy or fall behind in your calendar.
To avoid fatigue and help you stick to your calendar, try setting aside a block of time on a single day (or two) to create your visuals and captions in bulk. That way, when a new day of posts comes around, all you’ll have to do is pull from your library and post!
Create & Save Your Own Hashtag Lists
One of the BEST ways people find your brand–and brands like yours–on social media is through hashtags, and since you can use quite a few (30 on Instagram) start looking up hashtags that are relevant to your brand or that brands like yours are using.
Save that list in a convenient place on your phone so that when it comes time to post your caption and hashtags, all you’ll have to do is copy and paste, instead of wasting time having to type in multiple hashtags!
